- Which type of litter should I choose if I have an automatic litter box?
For automatic litter boxes, we recommend our Granular series (pink package). The small granule size (0.1-0.2 inches) is specifically designed to work seamlessly with all major brands of self-cleaning litter boxes, preventing mechanical issues and ensuring smooth operation. - What’s the difference between Pellet and Granular litter?
The main difference is the size and shape: Pellets (0.4-0.6 inches) are larger and ideal for traditional litter boxes, while Granular (0.1-0.2 inches) is designed for automatic litter boxes. Both offer the same excellent odor control and clumping ability.
- How much litter should I use?
For optimal performance, fill the litter box with 2-3 inches (5-7.5 cm) of litter. One 9lbs bag typically lasts one month for a single cat. For automatic litter boxes:

We recommend a gradual transition over 7-10 days: Start by mixing 25% new litter with 75% old litter, then gradually increase the proportion of new litter every few days. This allows your cat to adjust to the new texture and scent naturally. - Will my cat accept the new litter right away?
Most cats adapt well to our litter due to its natural materials and dust-free formula. However, some cats may need time to adjust. For an easier transition, you can start with:

- How long does one bag typically last?
A 9lb bag typically lasts one month for one cat.
- How often should I completely change the litter?
With regular scooping (1-2 times daily) and maintaining 2-3 inches of litter by topping up as needed, you should completely replace the litter every 2-3 months. - Is it really dust-free? What about tracking?
Our 5-step dust removal process ensures 99% dust-free performance. While no litter is completely track-free, our pellet formula significantly reduces tracking compared to traditional litters. The granular version may have slightly more tracking but is still minimal. - Any idea if it could be flushed if you have a septic system and not regular sewage?
Our tofu litter is made with eco-friendly and water-soluble materials. However, please check your local regulations and sewage system requirements before flushing. - Can rabbits or other small pets use this litter?
